When did Keyes join the race? This guy is a lunatic

I don't like him, but Romney handled the latest face slapping well.

A while back. He's usually not invited to these debates though.
I'm waiting for him to start pulling jokes like Robin Williams in "Man of the Year".

haha, good movie

these things are too short though, aside from keyes, it did seem more civil which is encouraging

You better hope Keyes isn't on the ballot in AZ because I'll vote for him. ;)

Keyes is such an embarrassment at events like this. It's no wonder they don't give him a chance to talk. He consistently went way over the alloted time and consistently way off topic with the questions. He also interrupted my man Ron Paul, which definitely wasn't cool.

I agree. Alan Keyes is such an embarassment. I'd vote for Obama before I'd vote for Keyes.

I consistently side with Keyes on most policy issues so I'll vote for him again.

Alan can't even keep his own house in order, why should we let him manage ours?

Jason, I'm not sure if you've taken the time to compare Ron Paul and Alan Keyes; they have very similar views on most policy issues.

The biggest difference between the two is that Alan Keyes supports the war in Iraq and believes it was justified by what happened during 911. He believes it is a moral cause we must fight for...which also means that we must spend billions of dollars.

Here is some audio of why Keyes supports the war: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xIuCjjAdTrE
-It pretty much sounds just like something Bush would say to support the war, except crazier (it gets really weird around 4:50)

I really encourage you to check out Ron Paul and the issues he stands for. I think you'll find it to be very refreshing...similar to Keyes in many ways, but supported by many, many more freedom loving Americans. Of course, you can read about the issues at www.ronpaul2008.com

Every issue test I take, Paul is way down the list.

Please check out the issues on Ron Paul's site and do not take the issue tests as scientific evidence. The only true way you can determine if you agree with a candidate or not is by hearing/reading it straight from them.

And if you disagree with Ron Paul in some way, please let us know why :)

Keyes has no respect, has consistently interrupted the monitor (that is what the question asker is called, right?), went over his allotted time, and interrupted the other candidates instead of waiting for his turn. I don't want a man who doesn't know how to take turns in office.
I don't think that Romney actually answered a single question put to him, he just kept going off on some rabbit trail about "my kids".

And yeah, why was everyone suddenly stealing RP's answers?
I did love the fact that in a debate where everyone is hollering about the evilness of war and how we need to put a global end to the ideology of jihad, Ron Paul turned around and called the income tax the most evil tax. It was great!

how did RP do?

any big comments or statements?

unfortunately, and I think the big RP guys gotta agree with me here...he didn't have any big statements bc the moderator was incompetent and did not allow the candidates enough time to answer questions. A very dull and dry debate

Although I do agree that it was a rather dull and dry debate, I think RP actually got more answering time in this debate than he did in the CNN YouTube debate. Even so, it wasn't much time at all.
