Meet & Greet Confirmation?

Has anyone received their email notification yet? The Wired website mentions it will be sent at least 24 hrs before the event, in most cases several weeks.

If this has been addressed in another thread could someone please point me in that direction? Thank you!

I'm going Friday night, and we are leaving town Friday morning, so I certainly hope my notification comes by Thursday at least. I'm sure it will! I may start getting nervous around Wed, though...

About the Wired Packages-Corrine recently posted that they are being packed now and will hopefully ship soon. No one, to my knowledge, has received their Wired Package yet. Even those who ordered them the very first day you could get Wired. So hopefully soon, I hope Friday for YOU Janet!!

As far as Meet & Greet passes, you won't need a "document". M&G passes are held at will call at the shows. You don't get a physical pass in your hand before the show. What we are supposed to get is an e-mail confirmation letting us know that there will be a pass waiting for us at the show, as well as the time and place to meet for the M&G. As far as I know, all M&G's are held before the concert. Hope that helps Donny. So even if you don't have your Wired package, if you requested M&G's on the Wired website, then you should get an e-mail confirmation and be able to meet the guys at the show.

I hope all of you have a wonderful time at the Christmas shows and have a wonderful experience meeting the band!!

There was mention of a M&G laminate in the WIRED package:
Third Day Membership Kit - Upon joining, members receive a kit featuring:
o An exclusive WIRED T-Shirt
o An exclusive WIRED Tour Laminate
o An exclusive WIRED bumper sticker

And this is what it says about the meet and greet:

Submit your information for one Meet and Greet pass for one Third Day WIRED member. (No Guests).
We will send out a confirmation email to all meet and greet winners at least 24 hours before every show.
Note: In most cases, we will notify each winner several weeks before the show date.

As for the M&G on the Christmas tour, Corrine had posted to watch the boards on WIRED. I've checked the boards this morning and there is just the welcome message from Dale Lackey. I did see an earlier post where it was mentioned that M&G passes are picked up at Will Call. Hope we get notified soon!

The Wired thing is new to everyone, so somethings are still in the "figuring out" stages, and some are still in the "getting used to" stages. If you went to the Wired site to request a M&G pass, and there were still some available for the show you are going to, barring some unforseen event popping up, you will get a pass. To pick up your pass, you will need to present your ID (driver's liscense) at the Will Call window at the show. Usually, there is an envelope with your name on it, and inside there will be your pass, which you need to stick onto your shirt or jacket, and a little slip of paper with instructions on where to go and when to be there for the meet and greet. The Meet and Greets will usually be before the show, usually 30 minutes to an hour before showtime. If you get there late, you will not get into the M&G! So be there when the doors open (one hour before showtime) or earlier.

If you receive no email telling you about your M&G pass, don't panic. Just go to the Will Call window when you get to the show. However, if you get no notification and it's 24 hours before showtime, please let me know, and I'll find out what your status is. I'd hate for you to get there and find there was a mix up and no pass awaits you.

There should be general information (when and where) about your M&G on the Wired boards (the ones on the Wired site) about 24 hours before your show.

Be sure you understand, the pass if for you and you alone. It is not transferable.

I do not know whether or not the Wired packages have been shipped out, but I am pretty sure that the laminate M&G pass in your package is a souvenir and not a genuine pass. The real passes have dates stamped on them, and can only be used once, whereas with a laminate, you could go to many M&G's. So unless it has some way to punch holes in it, or some other way to show that it's been used already, and if past laminates that came in packages are any indication, it is just a souvenir.

We're on the same wavelength, Jason. I've been listening to Time for about a week non-stop in the car. Fall reminds me of time, I guess cause "Look outside, the autumn leaves are falling..." But "Can't Take the Pain" and "Give" are stuck in my head!!! Not such a bad thing.:D

I'm not Corrine, but generally M&Gs are before the show. For a GA show you could just get someone to hold your place for you. Normally if you explain to those around you that you need to step away for a moment they will hold your place for you.

What she said, except for the "I'm not Corrine" part. ;) I think that for the spring show we might have a way to hold your GA seats while you go to the M&G, but they are still working on things like that right now. Just run down to your seat and have someone hold it for you, then go to the M&G. That's what we have done in the past.

Just one question Corrine. When I signed up for Wired, I went to the place on the website to request a M&G pass. The FIRST time I clicked, I received a message saying I had already requested a pass. But I noticed the # of passes available had gone down by one. So I assumed my request was processed, but I have been unsure about it because of the error message. I have tried to e-mail Customer Service at MusicToday and both e-mails have bounced back. Is there any way for you to confirm that they did receive my request for a M&G??? I would appreciate it so much.
My request is for the Dec 1st show.

There are 21 passes left for that show. Try to sign on again, and make sure you are typing all the caps as caps, etc. It's case sensitive.

The confirmation e mails are usually sent out 24-48 hours before the show. Received one on Friday 2/29 for the HOB show on 3/1, so you shouldn't be worried yet. The passes are picked up at will call. You'll need a photo ID.

At Orlando HOB I ran to will call thanks to fellow Gomers and we did meet after the show. The e-mail came that same exact moment but i could not get on-line........so never fail to check will call. I was very suprised,GBU

The M&G is about 15 minutes after the show. Got my confirmation e mail yesterday for the Charleston show tonight. Lee mentioned in the e mail to bring your WIRED laminate as the pass for the M&G. He should have a table set up at the show where you will check in.

I signed up for M & G for march 15th I read in the email that children under 12 are able to come with you without being a wired member.. my 6 yr old grandson will be coming with me to the concert. wondering if there is some way I need to let someone know he will be with me?
