I Belong to this Band: 85 Years of Sacred Harp Recording", a CD companion to the film "Awake, My Soul" is now available on our online store. It contains recordings which date back to 1922, but this is not only archival recordings- there's a little something for everyone, including 13 tracks from this year's Henagar- Union Convention in July, which sound stunning! The songs on here break down like this: 12 tracks [1922-1940] + 5 tracks [1955-1960] + 13 tracks [July 2006, Henagar-Union Convention].

Only a few of these tracks have ever been made available on cd as far as we know. We think you will be real happy with the way these songs sound. The packaging is great, since we did this with Dust to Digital (who released the Goodbye Babylon boxset a couple of years ago). Plus there is a 16 page booklet with annotations and an essay by Dr. Warren Steel who is prominently featured in "Awake, My Soul".
